FOR THE FIRST TIME...

For the first time in a long time I would not be able to wish Happy Birthday to a great friend. Today, Lee Thompson Young would complete his thirtieth birthday, but unfortunately he is no longer here with us. On the last day August 19 he left us forever. Lee lived a difficult time, dominated by the terror of a deep depression caused by the severe crisis of bipolar disorder, so your mind, taken by a confusion and drove him to suicide. Perhaps confusing the real with the fantasy world of the characters he conceived in his craft of acting life. For some, life imitated art when he played in 2010 a cop who practiced suicide to try to change a situation where it would cause the death of an innocent mother of family in Flash Forward. Maybe even, the confusion caused anxieties of the new and comical character that he played a cop who also could not see a corpse that fainted in Rizzoli & Isles, based on the work of my colleague, also author Tess Guerritsen series. However, are speculations, for the police, although recorded as suicide in his report, Lee's death remains as terrible a mystery. But that changes nothing about the result of the tragedy. All who had the honor and privilege of knowing Lee know well that not only lost a great actor, a great friend; we lost a noble soul, a gentle being, an example of dignity, an angel. Lee was an example of a person being followed, was charitable, respected anyone who approached him, was not involved in scandals, did not do drugs, take good care of your body and your health, and especially loved his family immensely and hisfriends. He was a lover of photography, fervent practitioner of capoeira, loved to travel and increase your circle of friends. Lee never let fame take your head, never gave importance to being a Hollywood actor, hand-picked the roles he did, loved attending movies based on real events or derivatives of successful books. At most, attending a remake of a classic movie. His concern was with so he could communicate to the public, who never participated in commercial, empty movies, he worried about the message that his characters can convey to his audience, only then decide whether or not to act in movies. Participated in many serials, rarely did villain role, as he did, ended up redeeming the end.Well, many people may not have known, because few are attached to work more Cults. But in the midst of entertainment, Lee was highly respected, was nominated for awards for five times and recognized for its brilliance. At 12 years old he started acting on TV; at 14 it was protagonist of a long series of Disney; to the 15 wrote a movie for Disney, about bullying, in which he himself played the protagonist; the 23 directed a production for the first instead, fix the script of the film and also acted: Lee was pure talent. Even so, humble, friend, truthful. Maybe God has asked to compose his army of angels, perhaps a black hole has settled in our chest with his departure, sucking our joys with intensity, but independent of it, life goes on, perhaps one day we return to the rediscover, who knows? The other side is still unknown. At the moment, I, many of your friends who asked me to write these words and your millions of fans, are here lost… We can only continue to pray for the peace of your soul sweet, asking all the light you always deserved and wish you from the bottom of our hearts, a Happy Birthday filled with peace, wherever you may be. Rest in peace my dear friend. We will never forget you!

RIP Angel
You will be loved forever!
